Bow & Arrows

So hubby needs something on this blog about him...hence the "bow and arrows"....

Traditional archery....I absolutely know NOTHING about it!  I just know that he loves it, and it's a passion he has.  Right now is stating up deer hunting season, so he's been doing a lot of "practice"...

Just another Saturday night at home....

Okay, so the in-laws came up from Myrtle Beach, SC for the kids bday weekend.  They stayed with us and M/I/L hadn't seen an old girlfriend from high school since high school.  She caught up with her on Facebook (go figure), and they had a lot of catching up to do....much fun!

New Ear-Rings!

My dear little one wanted to get her ears pierced for some time now.  Daddy kept saying she'd have to continue to ask until he knew she really did want them and that she was really ready to have them and take care of them.  So for her 5th birthday we informed her that she could do it if she still wanted to....of course she did!  Luckly their doctor's office would do it there, so appointment was made and the family went to hold sissy's hand, but she didn't even need it!  She was such a good/big girl!

Although she cried and made this face for just a little bit, she got a straight and clear face on before we went out the door!  She was so brave and her earrings are so pretty!

Get 2 Know Me...

So, I thought I'd let you know a little bit about me...but let's be honest, everyone that "blogs" really just wants to see it all instead of readingall about it...so here ou go.....

1.)  What I'm reading....not any 1 thing in paticular..I've read a little here and a little there in these book.  They are all really good! 

2.)  What's by the bed?

7.)  When Mama Ain't Happy, Ain't Nobody Happy...

I have this wrote and posted up over my kitchen sink.  It helps me to remember that my attitude is what sets the mood for the rest of the family.

9.)  Hand soap that I use in the kitchen.  Watkins...love it!  I got it at Target.

10.)  Family Board, it's hanging on the wall by the back door.  One of y friends made it.  It's got chalkboard, beadboard, and punch board.

11.)  My Laundry Room...it's honestly where I spend the most of my day!

I have this sign that I found at Cracker Barrell hung up by the back door.  I get alot of folks' comments about it.  Since I had twins, I just thought it was cute and had to have it!

Dupin Wine is just great!  It's a local NC wine.  This Twighlight is a limited edition, once it's all gone, it's gone!  Road trip needed to go get some more! Bottle about gone and I just opened it tonight!

We've gotta start somewhere....

So that you bloggers out there that are not family, let me introduce my self...I'm a SAHM of just about 5 year old boy/girl twins (birthday is atually tomorrow!). I don't go anywhere with out my blackberry! I'm as bad as a teenager, it's by conection to the world! I love me some Coach pocketbooks and Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino Ice Cream!



The reason for our blog name Twinkle Toes and Bow and Arrows, is because that basically describes our family. My little girl loves her some foo-foo and is so girly! Hairbows and painted toes is what she's all about! Then my boo-boo (what I call my little man) is all boy! Anything boyish works for him. He and dad love anything camouflage, or dealing with hunting, trucks and army men.

I have been a blog lover for years! When at home and it's family time, I'm usually sitting with a laptop on my lap ... blogging! Dear hubby just don't get it, he don't understand why us women are so nosey and want to "check things out" around the world in other folks homes. But he's also sitting there with a laptop on his lap and he's all up into some hunting forum! I don't get that...basically it's his way of "blogging" himself. Since it's almost hunting season here, he's online chating with his hunting buddies (all over the US) just comparing traditional archery stories. Like I said, it's his blog.

So, on with our first post...

Tomorrow will be dear childrens' 5th Birthday! How time flies! It seems just like yesterday when they were just being born, and now they are all grown up,5 going on 15! Pictures of the birthday party will be up soon.
